"Where nothing but the best will do"

A place well patronised by local villagers came with the opening of the Picture House in 1913, with seating for 800, under the management of Mr. Charles Nuttall, who always wore a flower in his buttonhole. Admission from 2d. to 6d. (1p to 2½p).
