Sutton Pinnacles Fell Race 2013
This race is due to take place again this year, 4pm on the 16th of June - at the end of Funday.
It is a 11k (6.3 mile) route, suitable for all abilities. It starts in the village, then goes up Cragg Lane, High Jack Field, Pepper Pot, Salt Pot, Hitchen Stone, Kid Stone, then across the fields and back down the Clough.
The race will be flagged and marshalled. I am also leading a reccy of the route, next Sunday (9th). We are meeting at 4pm, outside the King's Arms. It will be a steady pace - no one will get left behind, and all welcome.
Entry is £5. There is a bottle of Naylor's beer for all who run. The race is a fundraiser for Kildwick & Farnhill Scouts.
I would encourage any Suttoners who would like to have a go, to do so. All sorts of abilities will turn up on race day. At the Park Centenary race, last summer, it was really good to see lots of villagers joining in.
