Vandals strike School
The Village Committee were very pleased to donate funds to the "friends" of the Church of England Primary School in order to purchase a metal storage shed to be erected in the small playground. This was intended to hold P.E. and outside activity equipment but sadly before it could be used it was destroyed by vandals. Because of health and safety concerns it was necessary to organise the removable of the shed by a suitably insured worker. This could not be carried out immediately and the youngest pupils of the school were prevented from using their playground for a number of days. No doubt the people responsible for this despicable act will gain added pleasure from this knowledge.
