CDCs BUDGET EFFICIENCIES 2009-10 to claw back 2.5m
Please check this out. Its not good and includes measures that will affect us all including paying for parking in Cross Hills.
"At its meeting held on 7th October 2009 the Council considered the Interim Chief Executive’s report on the findings of an independent high level review of the council finances which indicated the council faced significant financial pressures. At the time it was considered a reduction of at least £1m was required to address the situation however work since has established a need to identify a minimum £2.5m reduction on the base revenue budget over the next two financial years which also assumes a 5% increase in Council Tax and the use of all remaining available reserves."
