What a bunch of creatives we are in Sutton! Well as well as Basil getting creative I have done a short film of this years light switch on at Rowan Garth.
Hope you like it (it is a bit rough but you get the idea)!

Steve,
Nice one dood, you guys down at Rowan Garth are indeed creative! I love a good lights show. In fact I was so impressed I drove down there the other night but it was all turned off. What time does that generaly happen then? |

In theory at about 10pm, Bazil. Sometimes some of us have an early night! Thanks for the compliments - this our way of raising money for charity and promoting community spirit. Everyone pitches in to help everyone else - it's that kind of street. |

Jacky I love the sentiment! I think Sutton is full of this type of community spirit and this is one reason I have fallen in love with the place. There is a feel of magic about this special village! Next year I will be considering ways to make a video for my Christmas song available here.... www.bazzzman.com/christmas_is_comin.mp3 , maybe we could do a video in your street? just an idea. I could make it available on a short code and we could donate a large percentage of proceeds to a charity of everyones choice?
Just an idea. |

Hey Baz, that sounds great, please can I have dibbs on being in it :)
I am sure the local media will be definately interested. Equaly Meadow Lea is upping its ante in the lighting stakes maybe Rowan Garth and meadow Lea could join forces? |

Hey Steve,
Only if you dress up as Santa and choreograph a few moves to be performed on the roof tops!!! |

Agreat big THANK YOU to all who contributed to the Rowan Garth lights fund. Jean's inspiration of a raffle took the total to £1000! Fantastic! The money will be split between the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Manorlands. |

Found near the collecting box on Rowan Garth - a man's tweed cap (Marks and Spencer). Can be collected from no 12. |
