hi david, just been reading your E mail, I have been in touch with my brother in law who lives in amble northumberland ,he is going to contact your cousin billy or his son I will let you know as soon as I have any infomation for you. Did you know youruncle laurence was a very good boxer in his younger days ,he used to box under the name of obbie walker,the last time I met with him was in october1954 when I joined the R.A.F stationed in bridgenorth in shropshire where he was a drill instructor. I had dinner with them a few times at their married quarters.hope to have some info for you soon.best wishes geoff. |
