St Thomas' Sunday School Pantomimes
The appearance of the photographs of the Sunday School pantomimes brought back some happy memories of appearing in the productions. I remember the rehearsals were on a Saturday morning and more often than not I was miissing due to playing soccer for the school, which did not always go down well with the producer Doreen Sharp(now Smith) who I believe is involved with Sutton Amateurs. the first photograph was Aladdin and the missing names on the back row are Phillip Akrigg and Alan Daniels, I believe the boy on the front row is Richard Barrett. The second photograph is Hansel & Gretel and again Richard Barrett is the unknown boy, to obtain the boys name on the back row I will have to look at some old records |

Hi David
Your panto photos bring back fond memories of when I was Hansel (Xmas 1959). I'm sorry but I can't remember the names of the missing stars either. Were you in the panto at the Baptist Chapel where I was one of the three kittens that lost their mittens - I don't have any photos of that one? I have a photo of the girls from Dick Whittington in 1962 if anyone wants to see it? |

Your recent photo of the 1962 panto Dick Whittington is interesting and hopefully I have supplied the missing names.back Row Judith Stirk,Linda Roberts, Carol Barraclough. Middle Row Jean Parker, Elaine Shellton, Pat Parrington. Front Row Kathleen Reape? and Joyce Dickinson. There was another photo of the full cast as I was the captain of the ship and will try and find it with people like Roddy Park, John Happs, David Birdsall, Michael Smith also on the photo coming to mind. |
