Christmas Nativity
People in the Village might be interested to know that an outdoor presentation of the Christmas Story called, “Journey to Bethlehem” is going to take place on December 16th at 4pm. The presentation will begin outside Allan Green and Sons on North Road and make its way past the King’s Arms and Black Bull to Sutton Park - which will become “Bethlehem.”
It is being organised by local churches and people of the community are invited to join in – and come in Biblical costume. If anyone would like to be more deeply involved as actors (speaking and non-speaking) or in helping to build sets, make costumes, or in knowing more about it, then there is a meeting and auditions at St Thomas’ Church on Sunday 30th September at 3pm – everybody welcome.
