Sutton Baptist 300th Anniversary
Does anyone have any detail/interest in the 300th anniversary of Sutton Baptist Church next year?
I have been unable to find anything on the internet - for once Mr Google doesn't seem to have anything up to date !!! For the most information you are directed to... yeah..you got it.... THIS website.
For those of us who live in distant lands it would be good to know what is being planned and any relevant dates.
Any information would be appreciated.

Hi Brenda,
My cousin Ruth Finlayson sent me an e mail re the the above. She would have some idea of what is planned. We are hoping to be over there for a holiday so should be involved some where along the way. They were asking for names of people who had been involved.

Hi David thanks for your posting. Did Ruth give you any dates or any idea of what is planned. As I was involved in the Church the choir and Sunday School until 1961 when I left the country I am trying to get a feel for what is happening, I missed the 250th by a matter of weeks. I think Peter and Rita Barsby are heavily involved in the organisation but I don't have any contact details for them. regards from the Sunshine State! |

Seemingly they are holding events throughout the year and were asking for names like yourself who were involved with the Church. No doubt Allan Pickles would know what's going on. Ruth does check the Web so she may send a reply to yuor query. What's this about Sunny Qld. we usually hear about floods!!!!!! We saw the sun today so there!
