'Stay Safe and Warm' sessions
from Rural Action Yorkshire
North Yorkshire County Council Libraries and Rural Action Yorkshire have teamed up to offer residents of Craven FREE energy switch sessions.
The Stay Warm and Safe in Craven project is kindly funded by North Yorkshire County Council and Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven Clinical Commissioning group to help communities and residents to stay warm, safe and healthy through the winter months.
As part of the project we are offering free energy switch sessions to anyone who wants to learn about the myths and facts on energy efficiency, go through the switching process using online websites on the library’s public computers and make sure they are on the right tariff for them.
Local sessions are:
Skipton Library - Monday 26th January 2015, 10am-12pm
Cross Hills Library - Thursday 29th January 2015, 2pm-4pm.
Come along to your local library for a practical session to learn how to compare energy suppliers using online sites, advice on grants you may be eligible for and clear up the jargon on tariffs and payment methods.
