Second Hand Book Sale
For the last four years we have run a second hand booksale in the Kings Arms around October. The proceeds go to the Conservation Group who are instrumental in helping Santa go round the village on Christmas Eve and hand out the delicios sweeties. If you have any second hand books we would be grateful if you could hand them in to the pub. Please note that we don't open until 4.00pm Mon thru T hurs then all day Fri, Sat and Sun. We only take books.....please no videos! The dates and times are as follows...... Fri Sat and Sun 24th,25th, and 26th October from 11.30 onwards. There is no set price for the books you buy....just a lovely hefty donation please!!!!!!! |

Re second hand book sale. Apologies for my first letter as in my haste to type i omitted that half the proceeds go to the Sutton Flower Show. Sorry about that. Also we have brought the opening time forward to 10.00am onwards. I'll maybe get the hang of this eh!!! Watch this space for more of my mistakes.!!! |
