It wasn't bad. Cylinder head gasket went just over 98k miles (a bit disappointing for a diesel). The Land Rover bars don't fit on the Grand Vitara I got as a replacement, hence wanting to get rid of them. I'd be delighted to bring them out to you but Aus is a bit of a long walk from here :-)

Hi Damian, We bought ours at 60k and the hardest work it had done was to take and elderly lady round. We put a tow bar on and it quickley sorted the turbo hoses out (all soft) when we towed. Then blew the turbo pump and then the crawl switch went all in a short period of time about $3.5k + to fix. Luckily we had taken a 3year extention insurance on buying and it covered the lot. After that we have had no problems. Very good for long distance travel as we do in Aus. now 130 000kms and going strong (touch wood)! By the way my carrier pidgeons refused as well! The Suzuki seems to do well out here. |
