Wooden 'old charm' type bookcase in need of TLC
Pretty Old Charm/Jaycee style 'linen fold' Tudor style bookcase / display cabinet now in need a bit of TLC. Some marks to bottom and left-hand side, genuine leaded glass doors although 2 panes are missing now and both sides are bowing inwards so it would benefit from repair! A refurbishment project for someone? It has a working lock with one key – top catch on left-hand glazed door fine, bottom catch needs mending but the doors do still lock. Bottom right-hand side cupboard catch also needs repair, left-hand one is fine so left-hand lower door locks whereas the right one does not. It is very solid and makes a lovely piece of furniture but we no longer have room so has to go, no space for the Christmas tree! Otherwise we would refurbish ourselves. Dimensions in inches 38 W x 12 D x 54 H. if anyone is interested I can send pictures, or you can view it (currently on e-bay) - we would need it collecting no later than next weekend. Free to good home or happy to take a small donation for charity. |
