New "old" photos Gallery
Sorry me again - your new photo Sutton Mill? c.1900 was actually taken in Ickornshaw, Cowling - in front of Shepherds Farm (now a bungalow), on the left Starkie Heaton Farm - to the right of that would have been Ickornshaw Chapel, and the occasion probably the start of a "Whit Walk" or similar. We have one or two similar on Cowlingweb, please forward this one to us if possible, I know Mark@Cowling would be pleased.
The Twisters Strike 1913 postcard is the same as was for sale at the Pudsey Postcard Fair not long ago, very glad you have now got it! |
