Margaret Almond

It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Almond.
Margaret passed away peacefully at Airedale General Hospital on Wednesday 5th November.
She had lived in the village for 52 years, was an active member of the WI and attended just about everything going on in the village, and was the local correspondent for the Keighley News and the Craven Herald for many years.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Airedale for taking such good care of her and making her as comfortable as possible in her final days.
We would also like to thank her friends and neighbours for all their help and support, especially after her husband Donald passed away.
Margaret's funeral is at Oakworth Crematorium on Monday 17th November at 12.15, all are welcome.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
