charles calvert Sunday, July 20, 2008 14:09	maypole can anyone remember the maypole being in the park in the 1930's. I attended the church of england school and remember dancing round this on mayday. the council school did country dancing instead. if anyone remembers this, or has any photos i would be very interested.
