school friends
hi from down unda in oz would love to hear from anyone who could help me in tracking down school friends from the sutton area circa 1966 (englands world cup win) thru to 1969 when we left to come to australia. Especially an old girlfriend called Janet Longbottom who seems to have vanished off he face of the earth even with the help of Friends reunited web site. |

hi clifford from sunny wollongong nsw australia, thanx for letting me know where janet has ended up, the last little bit of info we had was somewhere near liverpool, so thanx once again. its nice to hear you are still involved with the cricket club, where i had many exciting and fantastic saturday afternoons playing for the second xi back in my youth, please give my regards to andrew and sharon, schoolfriends i still remember with fondness, from evenings in the park in summer thru to some great games of football we had playing for south craven school. i don't know if you or anybody involved with the cricket club as any photos of the team in 1968/69 i do remember us winning something back then 'cause we had our photo taken for the yorkshire post, unfortunately all my old memorabilia as been lost over the years so any help would be appreciated. i only have two old team photos left of the south craven team under 13's if they are of any use please let me know and i will try to e-mail them to andrew or anybody else. thanx once again all the best from down unda. PS going to be a great season of cricket this year england vs australia (we want revenge) regards kevin |
