Car parking charges - REJECTED!
Have just returned from the Policy Committee Meeting held this evening at Craven Council (but only advertised from yesterday afternoon) where they discussed introducing car parking charges to Cross Hills Co-op car park.
I can tell you that it was turned down with 6 votes for and 7 against. The businesses in Cross Hills will survive another day! Well done to all those who defended their right to free parking in the village.
