Seasons greetings to you and your family David. We are just an hour up the road in Geelong, 10mins from Torquay. I couldn't resist the traditional old english pork sausages with a hearty helping of HP sauce for brekkie. The wife is busy in the kitchen preparing the roast pork. and also some of our favourite Filipino dishes such as Pansit and chicken sinigang. But first things first, it's time to stroll on the beach with the kids and the dog and work off the sausages!!
Merry Christmas to all, enjoy and be safe!!
Bruce and family!

Hi Bruce,
All the best. I got my ham on Friday from Safeway and as I have always done and decorated it up with glaze and pineapple and cherries on Chrismas Eve. For a few years we now we have not bothered with traditional Christmas fare as it is uaually too hot anway (this year was a good eating day). Our daughter had sugested we all have our favourite meal instead of turkey etc. This year it was prawns for daughter, Salmon and prawns for wife and pork cutlets (usually "T" bone) for dad, with a mango salad. Nice place to live down there handy for beach etc. We have generally gone to Warrnambool with the van. Last year we had a change and had a week at Robe SA, very nice. Booked this year for two weeks but, due to injury had to cancel vanning, but were able to book a cabin for 5 days, so of we go next week 4th. will do it in two hops, via the new ring road at Geelong, what a differance. Spoke to my brother in Coswolds, Gloucester last night, snowed in!

Hey David,
Your Xmas day feast sounds scrummy mate! It was eat and keep nibbling for afters for us. I always enjoy the opening of prezzies around the tree. Our kids are 13 and 17 so the mystery and fantasy of how Santa got in and out without the dog barking has well and truly passed.
I have my orders for the New Years day menu!! Crayfish it hopefully will be.......I have to catch them first!! We will be on the hunt on N Y eve and hopefully bag a couple for the start of 2011.....or as the wife would say, I'll prepare plan B shall I.
We normally get the underwater video camera out this time of year. If you have time go to you tube punch in exHMASCanberra_x264.mp4 We shot this clip not long after the Canberra was scuttled, I am leading two groups of divers on a tour of the wreck. one was a calm dive and the other was a bit surgy. I am the first diver you see underwater for identification. Also punch in
Ozone and Dominion matthewjoordens This one we made a couple of days ago, You cant miss me in this one! (They both have sound). I hope the injury is cured quickly and your trip is a success. I wish you and your family and all Suttoners wherever you may be, all the best for the New Year! Keep safe and enjoy!!

Hi Bruce,
Pretty impressive. It doesn't take long for marine growth to get going on the wreck! Do they cut extra holes etc before sinking? Good crayfishing.
