Sutton Amateurs
Reading the section about Sutton Amateurs I notice the name Elsie Foddham. I remember her from when she was a long standing member of St Thomas' church choir. Her son Ralph was a server at church and we were friends. Ralph and his father kept pigeons in a loft in an allotment up Crag Lane. I think they left the district but I do not know where they went. Mr Fordham senior was the caretaker at Sutton Primary school and Ralph attended Keighley Boy's Grammar school.
