Update on the above meeting, I've now been told it's a general Area Forum and doesn't have the Leeds City Region Growth Point or the LDF on its Agenda. It is dealing with reducing waste and energy consumption within the district.

Remit of the Area Forum meeting...
"The Forums are held at various locations across the district every 6 months and allow anyone who lives, works or learns in Craven the opportunity to voice their opinion on things that matter to them. These forums provide a valuable opportunity for residents to ask questions and get answers from The Council and other organisations."

Yes, usually representatives from NY POLICE, CDC environment , Transport, Housing, Benefits....usually a panel of 10 or so people including Councillors.
Sometimes local groups use it as a space to access local GRANT schemes for small projects....
I'd have thought if anyone wants to get updates re Train Station and Railway crossing bridge etc while looking into the whites of certain peoples eyes....this is a good place. Usually lots of questions from the audience in keeping with its title FORUM |
