where can i obtain marriage certificates
i am trying to find a marriage certificate relating to my family tree. 28th of the 7th 1832.between william walker and mary smith.of bradley yorks.marys parents are from cononley. |

Thanks Josie for your response , what i would like to know is where i could view this record , would it be Skipton or Keighley as the information i need is where William was born and his fathers name and place of birth as i have been led to believe that they were born in scotland and as this is before 1837 i dont know were to go from here |

The details that I sent you are so brief because they are before 1837, as you will know after 1837 it does include the fathers name.
The records are kept at Northallerton Record Office, you will need to make an appointment to view them.
