Possible snake in Sutton Clough
Yesterday evening, 1st June, whilst taking my 2 Cocker Spaniels on their regular walk up Sutton Clough, one of them became very ill and developed a large swelling on his chest, the size of a tennis ball. We immediately took him to the vets, and whilst not 100% certain, the vets think he has been bitten by a snake, yes a snake. He is still in the vets, and thankfully, responding to treatment, but please beware and if you suffer a similar problem contact your vets immediately. |

Pleased to say that our dog is well on the way to recovery now, but a very scarey moment, and people need to keep a look out |

Glad your dog's doing okay, but I've never heard of snakes around here before...think I'll wear stout wellingtons next time I go up the Clough!!
