the numbers do'nt fit
Looking through the newly posted 1849 parish statistics one cannot but try to bring some form of
rational to the difference between the deaths and burials of 82 souls.
Not until 1884 was cremation deemed to be not illegal, so that can be ruled out.
Carted off to another parish, maybe.
Lost at sea, I don�t think so.
Or have they become what most families have,
A skeleton in the cupboard.
