Sports assistance?
Hi all,
I'm hoping someone might know this: Some years ago I'm sure I remember reading about some sort of sports bursary for young people in Sutton in Craven. Am I imagining this, or does this exist? Or did it previously?
The only reason I ask is my 14 daughter has done ice skating for a few years. It's getting to the stage where everything is starting to get very expensive (and it wasn't cheap to start off with!). She really loves the sport and is part of a Synchronised skating team as well as competing in singles competition. We have done bag packing etc to help raise funds, but I've just remembered somewhere in the back of the mists of time about this.
