the vote
Is it a rumour or did I hear correctly that the vote was 21 - 1 against the proposed developments? The 1 was Ms Firth as I am led to believe] |

The proposal was to not pursue the Leeds City Growth Point and to review the housing figures.
All but one voted in favour of this. I'm pretty sure the against vote was by Councillor Ireton. |

I believe it was indeed David Lloyd Ireton, Councillor for Ingleton & Clapham Ward, but the CDC website does not state his party! (the only one left blank). |

Councillor Ireton was the single voice... he abstained as far as i'm aware (I was in the hall but may have misheard). In this case it can hardly be thought of as sitting on the fence, but it would be interesting to know why. |

I was in the car park at the back of the Town Hall, but I'm pretty sure I heard the call "Ireton" followed by the response "against".
