On the Farm 1900

Notes from Susan Knox:
The photo' has come from Tony and Andrew Squires. Their mother Constance
Squires has written the following on the back 'The younger man is Mr Albert
Spencer - Frank Spencer's father. The older man is Mr Jack Overend (Jack
Crow)a tenant of Wood Vale approx. 1900-08' It is unsure whether this date
refers to the tenancy or the date the photo was taken.
There are two possible locations for the photo. Mrs Squires has written 'In
the field with the footpath through Sutton-in-Craven' maybe meaning the
field that provides access from the Clough to Ellars Road. Or the field
below Strikes Lane.
