Below is an extract from a "Village News" item dated 1988 from my Mum's archive which seems to relate to a Sutton Mill Exhibition on 21-23 May 1988 with 1000+ attending with additional contents on page 2 reflecting on more historical times for the village, and especially the corn mill that became Bairstow's from 1543 to the mid 1800s.

Just wondered if anybody else knows about the exhibition and who Canon C Trevor was. Not having lived in Sutton since 1968 I'm a bit out of touch and don't remember the 1988 event.
