Taken in front of the Fountain at the bottom of West Lane. Denis noted the men and women are segregated and spotted the following: Carey Overend and Cyril Midgley;
half cut-off down the left hand side is Walter Thompson. The stout man next to Walter Thompson may have kept the Post Office before the war. The little balding man on
the right is Mr Wilcock who was for a while the Sunday School Superintendant. He lived up Park Avenue and had a wet fish round which he ran from a little van.
